Why RIVERRISE

Built around how Montana trips get planned.

Most of your guests live somewhere else. They plan months ahead, around park access, hatches, draw results and the rut, and they compare you against every other operation in the state before they call.

Timed to the season

Campaigns that start when guests start planning, not when the season opens.

Planned around the draw

Hunt marketing that lines up with nonresident license applications and draw results.

More direct bookings

Guests book on your site, so less of every stay goes to booking platforms.

Plain-language reports

Every month: inquiries, bookings, cost, and what we are changing next.

Lodges and outfitters

Two kinds of Montana business, one growth plan.

Lodges sell nights and packages. Outfitters sell hunts and trips. Plenty of operations do both, and the marketing has to fit how each one books.

For lodges

Lodges and guest ranches

More direct bookings, fewer empty shoulder-season nights, and less of every stay going to booking sites.

  • A website built to take direct bookings
  • Google Business Profile, reviews and local SEO
  • Shoulder-season and package campaigns
  • Email and SMS that bring past guests back

For outfitters

Hunting and fishing outfitters

Booked hunts and trips, a full calendar a season ahead, and an inquiry process that never lets a qualified hunter go cold.

  • Ads timed to license applications and draw results
  • Hunt pages that rank for species and region searches
  • Fast replies and follow-up on every inquiry
  • Photo and video that sell the experience

Questions

Montana lodge & outfitter FAQs

Don’t see yours? Call 406.730.6690.

Are you based in Montana?

Yes. RIVERRISE is based in Bozeman. We work with Montana lodges and outfitters in person or by phone and video, whichever suits your season.

Do you work with both lodges and outfitters?

Yes. Lodges, guest ranches, hunting outfitters and fishing outfitters, and the many Montana operations that run more than one of those. The plan is built around how your guests actually book.

When should a Montana outfitter start marketing next season?

Earlier than most do. Nonresident hunters plan around license applications and draw results, and lodge guests often book summer trips over the winter. We build the calendar backward from when your guests decide.

How much does marketing cost?

It depends on your goals and which plan fits. Base Camp starts at $600 a month, Expedition at $1,750 a month, and Summit at $3,750 a month, each with a one-time setup fee. Websites start at $2,500. Ad spend is always paid directly from your own Google or Meta account.

What do hunters search for when choosing a Montana outfitter?

Species and state together: “montana elk hunting outfitters” gets about 390 searches a month, compared with about 210 for “montana hunting outfitters” (Semrush). Species-specific hunt pages catch the hunters who already know what they want.
